WingLine Laser Kit
The WingLine™ projects a bright green laser line in front of your plow truck letting you know right where you wing plow trailing edge will be, before you get there! This inexpensive and easy to use add-on is a necessity for any municipal truck that is operating a wing plow.
- Mounted behind the windshield inside the cab to keep an optimum operating temperature, and clean lense.
- Auto-mode alerts the operator as the wing plow gets moved in and out of deployment.
- Simple and easy to install. Installation takes about 3 man hours.
- Low amp 12VDC required. Plug into existing cigarrette lighter outlet.
The wiring kit includes a simple IP67 wiring harness and circuitry that uses the motion of the wing lift cylinder to sense when the wing plow is deployed. If the plow is deployed the laser immediately turns on, indicating to the driver that the wing is down. Now there is no need to look in your mirror to check if the wing plow is deployed. The laser is a class 3R, so its ready to use in public settings, yet plenty bright enough to see in low light plow situations.
